The campus sprawls over acres of land near Burla town surrounded by Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) and Sambalpur University on both sides. On the south, a mountain range can be seen which intermingles with Debrigarh sanctuary and the famous Barapahad Jungle.

On the opposite side, the Mahanadi River flows across Burla with rock paintings on its bed. The serene blue waters of Hirakud reservoir, birds of far north, power channel, Right dyke, Minar, siphon, picnic spots, temples and the tilted Huma temple nearby make the atmosphere serene and spiritual.

Burla is teemed with young students of medical college, VSSUT and Sambalpur University besides schools and colleges. With a legacy of kidney transplantation and state-of-the-art facilities, the institution continues to grow with new infrastructure, digital education technology, and better student-teacher relationships.
